Our hokki is something very special: it is a fun way to encourage permanent changes of posture and resolves the contradiction between sitting and moving. That is why sitting on the hokki reduces strain on the musculo-skeletal system, promotes motor development, keeps attention focussed – and simply puts everyone in a good mood. Making it an active stool for large and small alike, for use in kindergartens, schools, during leisure time, or at home.
Hokki’s secret lies in its convex base which is equipped with a non-slip cover. As a result, hokki can move in a controlled way in all directions while in use and nevertheless remain stable and tilt-free. The inwardly curved structure of the ergonomically shaped seating surface provides a secure support. Hokki can easily be picked up and transported at the wave-like edge or can be simply suspended at the table. The body, which is made from polypropylene, is highly stable but also very light. And environmentally friendly: polypropylene is easy to melt down and the material is one hundred percent recyclable .

Anyone who likes to move around while sitting and is looking for a lightweight, space-saving seat that makes this possible will find just what they want with hokki. And can combine pleasure with comfort! Because it is available in the right size for all users.
Classic fixed-height hokki
- 31 cm (for kindergarten, up to table height 55 cm)
- 38 cm (1st/2nd year, table height approx. 64 cm)
- 46 cm (3rd/4th year, table height approx. 72 cm)
- 51 cm (as of body height 165 cm, table height approx. 76 cm)
- 62 cm (as of body height 175 cm, for table heights from approx. 85 to 95 cm)
Height-adjustable hokki+
In 2018, the hokki family welcomed a new member: the height-adjustable hokki+. The adjustment mechanism can be activated very easily from anywhere under the seating surface. Hokki+ is available in two height-adjustment ranges:
- 38 to 50 cm for body size 135 to 175 cm/table heights between 64 and 72 cm
- 50 to 68 cm for body size as of 165 cm/table heights as of 72 cm up to sitting/stand-at height
Ten colours, two upholstery options
Hokki and hokki+ are available in ten colours (as illustrated above). The shaped seating surface provides ideal support for the body and is equipped with a cushioning grey foam cover or thick foam padding made from black artificial leather. Who finds which the more comfortable option is a matter of personal preference. Whatever the choice, both hokki and hokki+ are very comfortable.
Ergonomically recommended
Hokki and hokki+ are an open invitation for active sitting. This does both the body and mind good in equal measure. The two groups of models have therefore been awarded the AGR quality label for outstandingly back-friendly products by the aktion gesunder rücken e.V. (AGR / healthy backs campaign).

The HOKKI is an ergonomic stool that transforms stationary sitting into an activity, ideal for active sitting environments. This stool is intended for temporary sitting, e.G. During brainstorming sessions, in reading circles or for short-term computer work. The convex base allows for movement in all directions, which is critical to student development as physical movement both increases well-being and encourages the physical and intellectual maturing process. The polypropylene body is highly stable and durable, but at the same time extremely lightweight. The soft base padding prevents slipping. The foam sitting surface ensures increased safety and comfort while seated. These stools are non-returnable.

The adjustment mechanism can be released from all sides underneath the seat without having to feel around for it. Sitting is especially comfortable thanks to the depth suspension. For added safety, a certain amount of resistance is needed to activate the gas spring – at least 57 pounds for the small version and at least 83 pounds for the larger hokki+.

Our hokki is something really special: being seated on a hokki means playful movement, activity and being in good spirits. An active stool for big and small, for use in the kindergarten, in school, in play areas and even at home. Hokki comes in four sizes so kids and adults alike can enjoy our hokki.
The old distinction between sitting and moving is immediately suspended: the hokki is a product with a simple and clear basic design, its simplicity allowing it to be versatile. It is easily manageable and understood intuitively. Kids are constantly finding new games to play with the hokki, it sets no boundaries to children’s imagination.
Controlled freedom of movement stimulates the entire musculoskeletal system in a great variety of ways. Such activity is liberating and increases the sense of wellbeing. Body and mind are activated and the natural urge to move around is supported in a productive way.
The convex design of the base makes the hokki movable in all directions. The carcass is made from polypropylene and highly stable but also very light. The soft base padding prevents slipping during dynamic sitting.
The seat cover makes sitting safer. The rounded-off seat edge has a trough structure which together with the secure base means the hokki is movable yet extraordinarily stable.
Hokki comes in four sizes:
